Cao Takes From Chidwick Before Hand-for-Hand
Level 16
: 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Just as Marius Torbergsen was in the process of busting there was also a decent sized pot in progress over on the other table between Rui Cao and Stephen Chidwick.
We picked up the action on the turn with the community cards spread ![]()
![]()
and close to 300,000 already in the pot. There was no betting on the turn, with Cao (UTG) checking the action over to Chidwick (UTG+1) who checked it right back.
The
river saw Cao lead for close to a pot-sized 250,000 and Chidwick ran the clock down the full 30-seconds and tossed in a time bank chip. Eventually, the Brit made the call, but could only muck when Cao turned over ![]()
for two pair to take the pot.
