Bryn Kenney outlasted a field of 75 entrants including 31 reentries to win the Triton Poker Montenegro HKD 1,000,000 Main Event at the 2019 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro for HKD 21,300,000 ($2,713,876).
This marks the second win for Kenney at this festival along with his second seven-figure cash after also finding gold in Event #2: HKD 500,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six Max for HKD 11,230,000 ($1,432,264) earlier in the festival. The victory pushes Kenney past David Peters and Fedor Holz into fourth place on The Hendon Mob All Time Money List with nearly $35 million in live tournament cashes.
Kenney shared he was in the zone during the three-day event and felt good about this victory.
"Very good. I mean, tired, but really strong. I just really was in the zone, played very well, crushed the table, had a few things go my way, it’s always the best."

| 2 | Danny Tang | Hong Kong | HKD 14,100,000 | $1,796,509 |
| 3 | Peter Jetten | Canada | HKD 9,600,000 | $1,223,155 |
| 4 | Mikita Badziakouski | Belarus | HKD 7,260,000 | $925,011 |
| 5 | Sam Greenwood | Canada | HKD 5,650,000 | $719,878 |
| 6 | Paul Phua | Malaysia | HKD 4,400,000 | $560,613 |
| 7 | Erik Seidel | United States | HKD 3,460,000 | $440,846 |
| 8 | Matthias Eibinger | Austria | HKD 2,680,000 | $341,464 |
| 9 | Jason Koon | United States | HKD 2,050,000 | $261,195 |
Mikita Badziakouski was able to eliminate both Triton Poker Ambassador Jason Koon in ninth place for HKD 2,050,000 ($261,195) and Matthias Eibinger in eighth place for HKD 2,680,000 ($341,464) in the same hand. Koon jammed ace-seven before Badziakouski over-jammed eights. Eibinger then called off his stack with ace-queen. A queen hit the flop to give Eibinger a pair but Badziakouski won the hand after an eight on the turn gave him a set.
Shortly later, Badziakouski was at it again and eliminated Erik Seidel in seventh place for HKD 3,460,000 ($440,846) after his ace-ten held steady against Seide's queen-nine suited.
Triton Poker Co-Founder Paul Phua was the next to go in sixth place for HKD 4,400,000 ($560,613). He got it all-in on the flop with middle pair holding seven-four only to run into the top set held by Kenney.
Badziakouski was then back at it eliminating Sam Greenwood in fifth place for HKD 5,650,000 ($719,878).
Shortly after, Badziakouski was on the losing end of a big flip which set the course for the rest of the event. Both Danny Tang and Peter Jetten were short but it didn't stop Badziakouski with ace-jack and Kenney with pocket sevens to get it all-in blind versus blind. The board bricked for Badziakouski, and he was ousted in fourth place for HKD 7,260,000 ($925,011.)
At this point, Kenney was clearly in the driver's seat with more than triple the chips of both his opponents combined. Jetten got his short stack in good with king-six against the ten-nine held by Kenney. Jetten was unable to hold on, though, with the board hitting Kenney. Jetten was eliminated in third place for HKD 9,600,000 ($1,223,155).
Kenney held a 12:1 chip advantage in heads-up play against Tang, and it was over quickly with Kenney nailing a straight with queen-jack suited. Although Tang wasn't able to find a win, it was an impressive result for his first-ever HKD 1,000,000 event with a runner-up performance worth HKD 14,100,000 ($1,796,509).
