Hands #156-159: Zang Takes Over

Level 23 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Hand #156: Bryn Kenney received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #157: Kenney opened to 1,000,000 on the button with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Aaron Zang moved all in with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for 9,000,000. Kenney called and the players turned over their hands.

Aaron Zang: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Bryn Kenney: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Zang was still in the lead with his pair. A {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Zang needed to dodge for a double. The {7-Spades} river changed nothing and Zang scooped in the pot for a complete double through Kenney.

Hand #158: Kenney received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #159: Kenney opened to 1,200,000 on the button with {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Zang called with {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} fell on the flop. Zang checked his three kings to Kenney who bet 825,000 and Zang called.

The {10-Clubs} landed on the turn, Zang bet 1,500,000 and Kenney bumped it up to 4,100,000. Znag used a couple of time extensions en route to calling. A {7-Hearts} completed the board, Zang checked to Kenney who bet 4,850,000 with his missed draw. Zang check-raised all in for 11,625,000 and Kenney instantly released his hand, sending the pot to Zang.
