Yong Scoops Zang

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Rob Yong
Rob Yong

In what was presumably a three-bet pot, Aaron Zang saw a {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop together with Rob Yong and Leon Tsoukernik. Zang, in the big blind, bet 120,000, Yong called from the hijack and Tsoukernik folded the cutoff.

The turn brought the {q-Spades} and both players quickly checked. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Zang cut out a bet of 285,000, which got snapped off by Yong.

Zang showed {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} but was second best as Yong revealed {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush.

Jiang Secures a Pot Through Pantling

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Andrew Pantling opened to 9,000 from the hijack with {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Richard Yong called on the button with his {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Alfred DeCarolis was holding {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} when he called in the small blind. Sosia Jiang three-bet to 90,000 after looking down at {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Pantling quickly pushed in a four-bet of 180,000.

Action folded to Jiang who called and the dealer spread {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} out on the flop. Jiang check-called a bet of 150,000 from Pantling and the {7-Clubs} hit the felt as a turn card.

Both players checked, a {5-Clubs} landed and both players checked again. Jiang turned over her hand, showing her flush and Pantling mucked, sending the pot to Jiang.

Kabrhel Continues to Climb

Level 4 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tan Xuan opened to 10,000 from the hijack, Dan Smith called on the button, Martin Kabrhel stuck around from the small blind, and Andrew Robl then three-bet to 65,000.

Xuan was the only one to fold and the flop came down {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}. Action checked to Robl, he bet 50,000 and both of his opponents called. A {10-Spades} fell on the turn and all three players checked to the {j-Spades} river card.

Kabrhel bet 31,500, Robl folded and Smith called. Kabrhel tabled {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush and Smith mucked, shipping the chips to Kabrhel.

Vogelsang Gives Up Aces

Level 4 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 10,000 from early position with {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Christoph Vogelsang, who has left his regular attire at home in favor of a suit and matching tie, three-bet to 41,000 on the button with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Badziakouski called before both players checked the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

Badziakouski added the nines as outs to his flush draw when the {q-Clubs} came on the turn. The Belarusian bet 72,000 and the German called in position.

The river was the {9-Clubs} to complete Badziakouski's straight and he bet 280,000. Vogelsang needed his time to come to a decision but ultimately folded the inferior hand.
