Tollerene Shoves on Lee; Phua First to Fall
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 20,000 with 6♣5♠ first to act and was called by Jesse Lonis with K♥Q♣ in early position and Ben Tollerene in the cutoff holding A♥5♥. Wai Kiat Lee then squeezed to 85,000 with A♦Q♠ on the button, which got a call from Thorel, a fold from Lonis, and a call from Tollerene for a bloated three-way pot.
Action checked to Lee, who continued for 60,000 on the 3♣4♥K♠ flop. Thorel let his open-ended straight draw go, but Tollerene called.
The 7♥ turn improved Tollerene to a flush draw and he check-shoved for 277,000 facing an 80,000 barrel from Lee.
Lee let his hand go and Tollerene was sent the large pot.
At another table, Paul Phua was eliminated after running his ace-eight into Joao Simao's pocket queens.
