Danny Tang Eliminated in 7th Place ($483,000)
Level 19
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo raised to 135,000 from the cutoff with Q♦J♣ and was three-bet to 480,000 by Danny Tang in the small blind. Miroslav Atanasov then four-bet to 880,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Petrangelo, but a shove from Tang for 2,130,000 total.
Atanasov went deep into the tank, but eventually stuck in a call with a slightly covering stack for a massive showdown.
Danny Tang: A♦K♦
Miroslav Atanasov: J♥J♠
It was a race for the chip lead, and the 2♣5♥9♥6♦6♥ runout kept Atanasov's jacks in front — eliminating Tang in seventh place.
