Triton Jeju II Day 4: $1.09 Million Awaits as $25k NLH Titi Poker Heads Towards a Champion
The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju II continues today with two events on the schedule, including an all-important Day 2 of the $25,000 NLH Titi Poker and the start of another $25,000 8-Handed event.
The Titi Poker event attracted 210 entries to create a $5,250,000 prize pool, with 52 players returning for Day 2. Danilo Velasevic leads the way with 2,760,000 chips, followed by Khoa Anh Ngo (2,595,000) and Joe Hindry (2,410,000).
There is plenty of star power still in the field, too, with Phil Ivey, Ben Tollerene, Adrian Mateos, Isaac Haxton, and Wai Kiat Lee among those still chasing the title.
With $1,090,000 awaiting the winner, the stakes are only getting higher here in Jeju as the field plays down towards the final table and the latest Triton champion.
And if anyone needed a reminder just how special winning a Triton is, just ask Klemens Roiter. The Austrian star captured his maiden trophy on the tour yesterday, the first of many, no doubt.
