Triton Jeju II Day 12: Main Event Takes Center Stage as $50K Bounty Quattro Begins
The record-breaking $200,000 Triton Invitational has been crowned, but there is no let-up at the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II.
After Joao Simao battled back from just two big blinds to win a record $7.25 million yesterday, attention turns to the $100,000 NLH Main Event, which resumes with 73 players remaining and $16 million already in the prize pool.
Danilo Velasevic leads the way with 1,864,000, with 2025 Poker Hall of Fame inductee Nick Schulman close behind after jumping straight into the Main Event following his runner-up finish in the $50,000 NLH 7-Handed. Malaysia's Lun Loon rounds out the top three, while Jean-Noel Thorel, Chahnhoon Jung and Alex Foxen are also among the big stacks.
Registration closed at the start of Level 11, so the field is now set for the race toward the final table and another huge Triton title.
And there is another high-stakes event getting underway later in the day, with the $50,000 Turbo Bounty Quattro kicking off at 5 p.m. local time.
