Wise Shocked and Out
Frederick Wise had a run of three hands that saw him go from robusto to busto. Sitting on a stack of just over 25,000 he called a shove from Robert Buky who tabled

. the straight taking a big chunk and doubling Buky up. The next hand saw Wise in the small blind and when it was folded to him he shoved in an attempt to pick up the blinds and antes. Peter Barrable was short but decided to get stubborn and called with

they fell and doubled up Barrable leaving Wise with only 5,375 and the button next hand.
An under the gun raise to 1,600 from Morgan Kan saw it folded to Wise who shoved. Kan shrugged and made the call with 
as he surely had to, and was crushing the 
of Wise. A final board of 
felted a shell-shocked Wise who rose from the table and staggered away before his brain even had a chance to process what had just happened over the last five minutes.
