The Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer

Level 6 : 250/500, 50 ante

On a flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} we saw Deborah Worley-Roberts with 1,200 in front of her, while David Nuth had 3,000 out. "I'll call you, big daddy" Worley-Roberts laughed as she called.

The {7-Diamonds} on the turn saw Worley-Roberts check call another 3,000 and the {3-Hearts} hit the river. Worley-Roberts checked and Nuth bet out 7,000.

"I think I'm calling you" Worley-Roberts said.

"Show me queens" she added while tossing in 7,000.

Nuth didn't show a single queen, but the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} he did table were also good enough to win the pot. Worley-Roberts flashed the {7-Clubs} before mucking.

Fan of Rugby? You Can Still Play!

Level 6 : 250/500, 50 ante

The Rugby World Cup 2015 game Wales versus Fiji is going on right now, and a lot of players were keen to watch it. The tournament organization came to the rescue and put the game on the big screen in the tournament room. There's no sound, but players can still at least keep up to date with the score and plays. Some players are paying more attention to the tv screen then to the poker game going on, but its a good game so we do understand.

Moti Takes on Chafak

Level 6 : 250/500, 50 ante

It was the Isle of Man's Jacob Hickling who opened the betting with a raise to 1,100 from under the gun, a raise that Suni Moti called from the hijack. After the cutofff folded, Sarah Chafak raised to 2,200 and was called by both Hickling and Moti.

The action checked to Chafak on the {10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Chafak made a bet worth 3,800 and only Moti called. Moti then checked the {7-Spades} turn and Chafak checked behind. When the {8-Spades} completed the board, completing a number of draws, Moti bet 3,550 and a few moments later Chafak's cards were in the muck.

Hayes Finds Chips on the Ground and on the Table

Level 6 : 250/500, 50 ante

Elliott Hayes fumbled his chips and a couple of them ended up on the floor. While he was busy gathering them from underneath the table and other chairs, Stephen Charlton raised to 1,500. Hayes called from the big blind.

Hayes, still busy looking for chips, check called a bet of 2,000 on {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and checked again on the {3-Spades} on the turn. Charlton checked behind while Hayes got a 100 chip one of his neighbors retrieved.

The {10-Diamonds} fell on the river and Hayes, who was just done picking up another 3 chips from the floor, bet out 3,500. Charlton called, but mucked upon seeing Hayes showing {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the flopped set.

Owen Can't Beat an Ace

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Adam Owen opened for 1,400 from middle position and the player in the cutoff and Finn Zwad in the big blind both called.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Zwad checked. Owen made a 2,200 continuation bet and the cutoff immediately released. Zwad wasn't so eager to throw away his cards though, and called.

Both players checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} hit the river. Zwad bet out 2,675 and Owen tossed in three 1,000 chips to call not much later.

Zwad showed {A-Spades}{2-Spades} and Owen mucked.

Moneymaker Flies to the Top of the Counts

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

Former World Series of Poker Main Event champion, Chris Moneymaker raised to 1,200 from under the gun and was called by Kenneth Chih-Hung to his immediate left. Wai Kwen Yuen called from the cutoff only to see James Loudon move all-in for 11,425 from the button.

Both blinds folded and Moneymaker called only to see Chih-Hung move all-in. Moneymaker instantly called to put both players at risk of elimination.

Moneymaker: {K-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Chih-Hung: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Loudon: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

A board reading {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} saw Moneymaker send two opponents to the sidelines and his own chip count to the top of the leaderboard.

Moneymaker informed his table mates that he's having to leave the tournament for 90-minutes once play resumes after the dinner break, this massive pot should help prevent that downtime being too costly.

Everyone Still Loves a Chop Pot

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

James Loudon got his last 7,025 chips in before the flop from early position. Action folded to Simon Hamilton in the cutoff and he called. The button and both blinds folded and it was time for the two of 'em to table their cards.

Simon Hamilton: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
James Loudon: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and the door was already open for a chop. The {2-Spades} on the turn gave Loudon some more outs and the {3-Diamonds} on the river sealed the deal for the split pot.
