Liudas Didenka Eliminated in 12th Place (£7,102)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Liudas Didenka
Liudas Didenka

With action happening on both tables, the floor staff monitored the pace of play on the pay jump. The sudden burst of excitement got underway when Liudas Didenka pushed for 755,000 in the cutoff and Lorenc Boci called on the button with the covering stack.

They had to wait for the other table to finish in which Joshua Boulton won a multi-street pot against Dongze Hao with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} versus {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to pull further ahead of the pack. The other showdown then unfolded as follows.

Liudas Didenka: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Lorenc Boci: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

"Lots of outs," Didenka told the rail but there were barely any outs left on the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. It was all over on the {5-Spades} turn to make the {a-Hearts} river a formality and Didenka headed to the payout desk to collect £7,102 for his 12th place finish.

Ben Slack Eliminated in 11th Place (£8,520)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ben Slack
Ben Slack

Kully Sidhu raised it up to 80,000 and Ben Slack then got the last of his 230,000 in from two seats over for Sidhu to snap-call.

Ben Slack: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Kully Sidhu: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop gave both players a straight draw and it was Sidhu who got there with the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Slack needed a king to chop but the river was the {j-Spades} to end his run in 11th place for £8,520.

Three-Bet by Saout Gets Through

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Lorenc Boci raised to 80,000 in the hijack and Julien Sitbon called in the cutoff. Antoine Saout then three-bet to 355,000 on the button and Boci tanked for two minutes to fold. Sitbon gave it some brief consideration and came to the same conclusion as well.

Boulton Still With a Comfortable Lead; Hao Chips Up

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Perhaps one of the very few setbacks for Joshua Boulton took place during the three-bet hand on the other table as Dongze Hao claimed a showdown pot versus Boulton.

Hao then jammed in a battle of the blinds against Lukas Dimsa and three-bet jammed into a cutoff min-raise by James Rann, who let go.

Vedhara Doubles Through Sitbon

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Rickie Vedhara had won a pot off Antoine Saout in the previous hand when he bet the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop for 100,000 and Saout check-folded.

The next hand brought a raise to 80,000 in the cutoff by Julien Sitbon and Vedhara jammed for 820,000 in the small blind. Within one second, Sitbon flicked in a single chip for the call.

Rickie Vedhara: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Julien Sitbon: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} flop improved Vedhara to two pair but Sitbon still had a flush draw to go with his pocket kings. Nothing changed on the {5-Hearts} turn and the {q-Clubs} river secured the double up for Vedhara.

Vedhara Also Doubles Through Saout

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Antoine Saout opened to 80,000 and Rickie Vedhara then three-bet to 230,000 from one seat over. Saout four-bet to 650,000 and Vedhara then five-bet jammed for 1,720,000 to receive the call by Saout.

Rickie Vedhara: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Antoine Saout: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} board secured back-to-back double ups for Vedhara, sending Saout below one million in chips.

Break For the Final Ten

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dongze Hao kept up his aggressive play and opened to 180,000 while in the small blind. Lukas Dimsa then three-bet to 450,000 to force a fold from Hao.

In the last hand on their table, Joshua Boulton raised to 80,000 in the cutoff. Dimsa three-bet to 500,000 for one third of his stack while in the big blind only to then face the shove by chip leader Boulton. The tank-fold followed and Dimsa went into the first 15-minute break of the day with a headache.

Rann Doubles Through Boulton

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In the first hand coming back from the break, Joshua Boulton raised to 100,000 from under the gun. James Rann then jammed for 495,000 in the big blind, which earned a call from Boulton after a brief spell in which the chip leader pondered about his decision.

James Rann: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Joshua Boulton: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Clubs} board kept Rann's pocket pair in the lead and he doubled through Boulton.
