Doshi Eliminated by Ramiro

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Julien Sitbon and Ben Slack took over control and the largest stacks on table four but the one responsible for the elimination of Paresh Doshi was Michael Ramiro.

Down to around 235,000, Doshi got it in with the dominated {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} as Ramiro flipped over {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

"I gonna make the eight," Sitbon joked in table chat, having mentioned to have folded pocket eights. That wasn't the case on the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board and Doshi found no help to become the 26th place finisher.

Ferreira Pais Eliminated by Hao

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Mauricio Ferreira Pais
Mauricio Ferreira Pais

Dongze Hao had been moved tables to balance the field and the very first active hand saw him involved in three-way action.

Alexios Zervos raised in the cutoff for Hao in the small blind and Mauricio Ferreira Pais in the big blind to call. Ferreira Pais check-raised Zervos' continuation bet on the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and Hao was the only caller.

The {5-Diamonds} turn brought the check by Hao and the shove by Ferreira Pais for around 400,000, which resulted in a snap-call by Hao.

Mauricio Ferreira Pais: {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Donze Hao: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

Ferreira Pais needed a six or seven so avoid the elimination but the {q-Clubs} river sent him to the rail in 25th place.

Whitenstall Takes From Speranzoni

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Alex Whitenstall raised to 32,000 and Alberto Speranzino defended out of the big blind. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop brought a small continuation bet which Speranzino check-called and they checked the {5-Spades} on the turn. Speranzino bet the {j-Diamonds} river for 160,000 and Whitenstall snap-called to reveal his {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} already.

Speranzino as the last aggressor mucked and the pot was shipped to Whitenstall.

Benjamin Lehrer Eliminated in 24th Place (£3,387)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Benjamin Lehrer - Joshua Boulton
Benjamin Lehrer - Joshua Boulton

The action started with a button raise by Benjamin Lehrer and Joshua Boulton three-bet the small blind for Lehrer to call. As they headed to the {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Boulton continued for 80,000 and Lehrer came along to the {7-Spades} turn.

Boulton now checked and Lehrer bet 125,000 with the effective stack. The check-shove by Boulton for 685,000 followed and Lehrer gave it some 20 seconds before making the call.

Benjamin Lehrer: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Joshua Boulton: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The wheel draw and nut flush draw of Boulton had plenty of outs and one of them came on the {10-Spades} river to eliminate Lehrer in 24th place for £3,387.

Speranzoni Wins Last Hand Before the Break

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

In the final hand before the break, Ben Slack was involved in a three-way pot in which he was in the big blind and had 100,000 invested. The initial raiser Lukas Dimsa in the cutoff and Alberto Speranzoni on the button came along and the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop was checked to Speranzoni. He bet 95,000 and earned two folds.

"Show the bluff," the demand came and Speranzoni revealed the {j-Hearts} to rake in the pot.

Raul Lozano Eliminated in 23rd Place (£3,895)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Raul Lozano
Raul Lozano

Raul Lozano had returned from the break as the shortest stack and pushed all-in for 250,000 from an early position. Robert Boon moved all-in over the top and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Raul Lozano: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Robert Boon: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

No paint card appeared on the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and the {5-Spades} turn opened some split opportunities with a potential straight on the board. However, the {q-Diamonds} river changed nothing whatsoever and Lozano was eliminated in 23rd place for £3,895.
