Day 1a of the PokerStars UKIPT Brighton Main Event, running at the Rendezvous Casino, has now wrapped up. A total of 124 entries were made to the flight, making for a prize pool of £128,640.

Of those who entered, 19 players made it through to Day 2 and into the money.

Marian Ionut Farcas of Romania finished the flight as chip leader with 656,000. Bhavin Khatri came out in second place with 513,000. Neil Walker finished in third place with 313,000.
