Adam McKola Tops Day 1b of UKIPT Season Finale Main Event, 23 Players Progress

Day 1b of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour 2023 Season Finale, running at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, has now concluded. A total of 154 entries were made; of those, 23 players made it through to Day 2 and into the money.

Adam McKola finished as the chip leader of the flight and the overall chip leader in the tournament so far. McKola has already scored an impressive third place at the UKIPT Brighton earlier in the year and is now in prime position for another solid result. He doubled up late in the day and then won another huge pot in quick succession to bag up 518,000 in chips.

In second place was Brandon Sheils, who has over $1.2 million in live tournament winnings, according to The Hendon Mob. He finished the day with 460,500 chips.

Scott Margereson bagged in third place with 379,000, Danny Pyke finished in fourth place with 370,000, and PokerStars Team Pro player Benjamin Spragg ended the flight in fifth place with 360,500.
