Perdesi Turns Flush to Crack Chapman's Straight

As recalled by a player, Daniel Chapman raised preflop from the cutoff, Jas Perdesi called on the button. Keith Johnson then reraised to 6,000 from the small blind. Chapman and Perdesi called.

The flop came Q♣J♣10♠. Johnson led for around a third of the pot, Chapman raised to 16,000, then Perdesi moved all in for 60,000. Johnson folded and Chapman made the call.

Perdesi had a straight draw and flush draw and Chapman had the nut straight. The turn came the 2♣ and the river the A♦. The turn brought Perdesi the flush to give him a big double up.

The flop came 6♣2♠2♦ and both players checked. The turn was the 7♣. Jones bet 2,500 and Nadeem called.

The river came the J♥. Jones fired again, this time for 1,700. Nadeem responded with a raise all in for around 21,000. Jones threw his cards into the muck and Nadeem took the pot. He showed A♣10♦.

"It's good to throw in a couple of bluffs every now and then," said Nadeem.
