The flop came J♦10♠3♣. Allen made a continuation bet of 1,500, Haycock raised to 4,000, and Allen called. The turn was the 7♥. Allen checked, Haycock bet 6,500 and Allen called.

The river was the 5♦. Allen checked and Haycock put Allen all in. Allen made the call. Haycock showed J♥10♥ for two pair, jacks and tens. Allen mucked his hand and was eliminated from the tournament as Haycock scooped the pot and chipped up to around 100,000.

Haycock is representing the charity Hearts of Queens, which raises awareness and funds for women's charities.

Tournament Getting Close to Meeting £1M Guarantee

The UKIPT Season Finale is now close to meeting its £1,000,000 guarantee. There are now 924 entries across four starting flights, including 417 in Day 1d - late registration remains open until the end of Level 11.

If the numbers are not met during this flight, Day 1e runs later this evening, starting at 7 p.m. local time, and is sure to tip the scales to bring the prize pool over the £1M mark.

Because of the size of the flight in terms of entries, the dinner break will be split; half of players will take their break now and half will remain at the tables. When the blind level is complete, the other half of players will head on dinner.

PokerNews reporting will still be happening, but will slow for the duration of the split before play resumes as normal.

Beihao Wang raised to 1,500 from early position and Jacek Skiscim three-bet to 5,200. Action folded back around to Wang, who moved all. Skiscim quickly called and was covered as players flipped their cards.

Michael had a straight draw and Birchall had pocket eights. The turn came the 9♠ and the river was the Q♥. Birchall made two pair with his eights and the nines on the board to win the pot. Michael was eliminated.
