Solazzo Backdoors a Flush to Crush Ellison's Straight
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
The action was caught on the river on a board of 10♥2♠7♣6♣3♣ with around 14,000 in the pot when Carlo Solazzo checked it over to Alexander Ellison, who fired 12,000. Solazzo responded with a shove for 23,300, and Ellison eventually made the call.
Solazzo tabled the nuts with A♣10♣, and Ellison's turned straight with 9♠8♠ went down in flames. After the stacks were counted down, Ellison had around 2,500 remaining, and Solazzo was up to over 60,000.
