Boatman Sunk & Trotter Toppled as the Bubble Boys Emerge
Two players were at risk, just as hand-for-hand play got underway.

Boatman's pocket queens looked good on the 6♣9♠8♣ flop, but he was made to sweat a little on the 9♣ turn as Herbert picked up a flush draw. The A♣ river paired Herbert and gave him a flush, which meant Boatman was eliminated.
On the table adjacent, Paul Trotter was all-in and at risk for his stack of around 100,000, and he been put at risk by Ben Shannon.

Trotter had the best of it, but was left with just one out after the A♣J♦9♦ flop gave Shannon a pair of aces. The 7♦ turn did give Trotter a flush draw, but the 5♥ river cemented his status as one of the bubble boys.
