Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Martins Adeniya
Martins Adeniya

Martins Adeniya is currently on 43,000 in the Main Event but he admits he's got a tough task as his fellow Ambassadors have already outshone him results wise.

"Sin and Dermot were both on finals today and Ben has nearly made a final, I have to win this and set the bar really high..."

High Noon-an

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jay O'Toole opened preflop to 1,800 with Stephen Ng flat-calling, James Noonan then squeezed all in from the big blind for 13,175. O'Toole quickly folded but Ng asked for a count before throwing in a call he could well afford.

Ng: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Noonan: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The flop looked to be a death sentence for Noonan when it came {4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and the {9-Hearts} on the turn didn't help either. But then from nowhere, the {5-Spades} appear on the river to save Noonan, doubling him up to 28,000 while Ng dropped to 62,000.

Dino Sabatini
Dino Sabatini

It started innocently enough.

In a four-way pot the flop of {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} had been checked around to David McHardy who bet 3,000 as last to act. First Adrian Arulanandam check-raised to 7,025 - a strong move in a multiway pot. But that was only the beginning as Hakon Johansen then reraised all in over the top for around 25,000 - a move that looked even stronger.

And then Dino Sabatini then pushed over the top of that! The action was back around to McHardy who probably couldn't believe what he'd started. McHardy quickly folded and Arulanandam looked similarly bemused, also giving up the hand.

Johansen: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Sabatini: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs} on the turn did not change anything but the {10-Diamonds} on the river did, Johansen making a full house to jump to 70,000 while Sabatini dropped down to 78,000.

Adeniya's Aces Cracked

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Full Tilt Ambassador Martins Adeniya opened to 2,100 preflop before Dermot Fleming made it 10,000 to play with just 8,300 behind. Adeniya quickly set him all in and Fleming obligingly called off his remaining chips.

Adeniya: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Fleming: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Adeniya was in good shape to add to his stack but the board came {8-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and the 36,000 pot went to Fleming instead.

Second Place Silver

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Max Silver opened to 2,200 preflop and received one caller in Adrian Tracey. The flop came {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Silver bet 2,200 which Tracey called. On the {Q-Hearts} turn, Silver elected to cautiously check and Tracey quickly bet 3,000. Silver made the call and then checked the blank-looking {2-Diamonds} river. Tracey bet 6,000 which induced a frown from his opponent. Silver studied the board for a minute before reluctantly dropping in the chips for a call, Tracey quickly turned over {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the nuts and Silver mucked.
