Massive Chip Leader

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Darren Woods
Darren Woods

Usually when you play every hand, things do not go your way since you can't win every hand. However, that has not been a problem for chef Darren Woods. He's been playing what can only be described as a 'super-high variance' game that involves him playing around 90% of the hands. He's consistently hit and forced people to play for stacks every time and it's working. He has nearly 600,000 at this point, that's around four times the average.

Shoving Time For Shorties

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Now that the bubble has burst there is likely to be a flurry of bust outs. First out in the money was Colin Marks and not long after was Robert Schulz.

Schultz moved all in and got two callers, one of them Adam Kelly. It was checked down to the river of a board reading {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs} whereupon a bet from Kellly saw the other player fold. Kelly had {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and his flush knocked out Schultz who turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Gregory Chambers Bubbles UKIPT Isle of Man

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Gregory Chambers
Gregory Chambers

Andre Wagner opened to 6,500 from middle position. Gregory Chambers then moved all in from the button for 43,700.

Wagner got a count then cut out the amount from his stack, before deciding to make the call.

Wagner: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Chambers: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Wagner made two pair to send Chambers out of the tournament and everyone else into the money.

Not in the Mahmood

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Mahmood Rasheed has been knocked out in 57th place, he pushed with {A-}{Q-} but ran into {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} on a {K-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades} board. With 56 players left, the tournament is now playing hand-for-hand. One player will leave with nothing, the rest will take home at least £1,660 each.

Clarke's Knavish Behaviour

Gary Clarke moved all in from early position for 40,600 and it was passed to Terence Jordon in the cutoff who made the call.

Clarke: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Jordon: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

Clarke was massively in trouble but managed to survive when the dealer put out a board reading {5-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} and the Irishman survived.

Nicked by the Sweeney

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Linus Sweeney moved all in from under the gun for 23,600 and Phillip Szeto called in for less from the button. Robert Schulz thought for a while before calling both shoves in the big blind.

Sweeney: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Szeto: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Schulz: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The board came {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Sweeney scooped the pot, knocking Szeto out at the same time.

“One Time” No Good For Saxby

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

There had been a raise before Ciaran Heaney three-bet on the button when Kelly Saxby moved all in from the small blind. The original raiser took a while to decide what to do while Saxby, who was at risk, stood up and awaited her fate for what must have seemed like hours to her. While she waited she told PokerNews that she had used her “One time.”

The original raiser folded and Heaney turned over his {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Saxby held the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

The cards ran out {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and despite using her one time and standing up to leave trick, somehow Saxby was out agonisingly short of the money.
