Only 3 to 1 Lead

Level 26 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Within three hands, Julien Sitbon doubled up twice and took down another pot by betting a flop of {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs} with {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

In the first hand the Frenchman doubled for 750,000 with {K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} versus Alex Stark's {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} on a board of {9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The second all in was worth 1,620,000 and Sitbon's {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} held up against {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} despite a scary turn on the {6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board.

Heads Up Counts

Level 26 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

The counts have been updated and the levels in heads up will last 30 minutes each.

Florian Ferroni Eliminated in 3rd Place (€37,500)

Level 26 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante
Florian Ferroni
Florian Ferroni

Less than six minutes into the new level, Florian Ferroni moved all in for 2,185,000. Karl Stark made the call with the far superior stack and the following showdown took place:

Stark: {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Ferroni: {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop provided no help, but the {4-Clubs} turn gave a flush draw to the Swede. Sure enough the {7-Clubs} river completed said flush and Ferroni was eliminated in third place for €37,500.

Expensive Board for Sitbon

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Karl Stark opened to 340,000 from the small blind and was called by Julien Sitbon from one seat over with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. On the {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, Stark continued for 310,000 with the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} and was called. The Swede then checked the {5-Diamonds} turn and called a bet of Sitbon for 325,000 before doing the same all over again on the {7-Clubs} river for 450,000.

The hand knocked down Sitbon to the short stack and Stark regained his dominating lead.

Wrong Timing by Ferroni

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Florian Ferroni defended his big blind with the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against the 180,000-button raise of Karl Stark and then check-raised the {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades} flop from 205,000 to 525,000. Stark jammed with {Q-Spades}{6-Spades} and Ferroni mucked.

Sitbon Gets Flush

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After a couple of three-bets and just one flop, one hand eventually saw the river. Florian Ferroni had opened to 180,000 from the button with the {6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Julien Sitbon called in the big blind with the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Sitbon ended up check-calling two barrels worth 225,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop and 355,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn before leading the {5-Hearts} river.

Ferroni didn't feel like bluffing and let go.

Ferroni Doubles Through Stark

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Florian Ferroni opened to 180,000 from the button and Karl Stark three-bet big out of the small blind, making it 545,000 to go. Julien Sitbon folded and Ferroni took his time before shoving all in for around 1.9 million. Stark called rather quickly and they turned them over:

Stark: {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Ferroni: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The board {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs} was another setback for the Swede and the dominating chip lead has gone, even though he still has almost double the stack of Ferroni in second place still.

Ferroni Shoves

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Karl Stark won a smaller limped pot with {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} out of the big blind against the {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} of Julien Sitbon on a board of {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} after his value bet on the river was eventually called.

Then the Swede raised to 180,000 with the {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} from the button and Florian Ferroni moved all in for 1,290,000 out of the big blind, holding the {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Stark asked for a count and then let it go.
