Three Men Down

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 1,000 ante

George McDonald on the feature table, David Stocker and Laury Vanlerberghe have all been eliminated. The latter open-shoved for 60,000 from the button with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and David Abbas made the call from one seat over with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and that was it for the Frenchman.

Langfeldt at it

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 1,000 ante

Joining the action on the {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, Anders Claren fired 25,000 out of the big blind and was called by Nicolay Langfeldt before the {Q-Clubs} fell on the turn. Claren made it 40,000 to go and Langfeldt now raised to 83,000. He was called and Claren announced a check in the dark before the {4-Clubs} completed the board.

Langfeldt grabbed an entire stack of T,5000 chips and fired 100,000 to enforce a fold from his opponent.

Bozoki Busts Ferrari

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 1,000 ante

Fabrice Ferrari had only very few chips left and got that in with the {J-}{10-}. Zoltan Bozoki looked him up with the {K-}{Q-} and flopped top pair with a queen. An ace on the turn gave Ferrari a gutshot, but the meaningless {10-} was not good enough.

One table over, Jan Wolfgarten ran out of chips a mere minute later as well.

Ozman and McDonald Bust on Feature Table

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 1,000 ante
David Ozman
David Ozman

The first player we previously mentioned to be busting on the feature table was David Ozman. And George McDonald followed soon after when three-bet shoving with the {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} out of the big blind for 104,000. The initial raiser on the button made the call with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and the board ran out {8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{A-Spades}{5-Spades}, ensuring that the kicker would play a crucial role.

Scisel and Jach Done

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Radek Scisel and Olivier Jach are the latest two entries to the bustout list. Jach lost another small pot to Cristian Cirtog and then got the remaining five big blinds in with {Q-}{J-} against the {A-}{3-} of Daniel Clifford. Ace-high won the pot after neither player had hit anything and the player with the third-biggest stack at the start of Day 2 waved goodbye.

Pavic and Kanarkiewicz Gone

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Karl Stark opened to 15,000 and was called by Julien Pecheur in the small blind before Michal Kanarkiewicz moved all in for around 70,000 in the big blind. Stark called and Pecheur mucked king-queen to see the Pole next to him flip over ace-king.

Stark had the {Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and found both remaining queens in the deck after a bord of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

Davor Pavic is also gone after his {A-}{8-} ran into ... king-queen, a queen on the board.

Simpson Triples; Jantunen Busts

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jopi Jantunen was a short stack for most of the day and eventually got it in with the {A-}{2-} to see Grzegorz Kowalczyk look him up with {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The Pole made a straight on the river and Jantunen was gone.

Almost at the same time a crazy hand took place on table five. Florian Ferroni had doubled up big time through Olivier Jach and the latter was then all in after a three-way clash. Ian Simpson also lost a lot of chips and was at risk with {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Jach held the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} as second biggest stack while Daniel Clifford had both covered with the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

Simpson flopped the world on {9-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and tripled up, Jach sat there even shorter.

Fanucci on Tilt and Out

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Karl Stark opened from the button to 14,500 and then had to call the shove of Christine Fanucci with the {K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, as the Frenchwoman was down to only 40,000 in chips. Fanucci held the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} but the board ran out {8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}. She definitely wasn't a happy camper on the way out.
