Ace-King Post Flop in the Muck

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Evgueny Ievkov made it 130,000 with {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Robin Sevastik called with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Daniel Wittikko, holding {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, came along for the ride as well.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Wittikko and Sevastik both checked. Ievkov bet 170,000 into 460,000 and this time the ace-king was hitting the muck post flop. Wittikko, with second-pair, folded as well.

Rune Thomson Eliminated in 9th Place (€7,011), Alexandru Dan Nistor Eliminated in 8th Place (€8,757)

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Rune Thomson shoved all in for 410,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and walked away from the table. Robin Sevastik behind him made the call with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Alexandru Dan Nistor over shoved for a little more with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. Sevastik made the call to make it a three-way showdown.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Sevastik picked up a flush draw. The {K-Clubs} on the turn hit him in both spots and the {6-Hearts} on the river didn't change a thing anymore.

Two eliminations in the same hand. Rune Thomson eliminated in 9th place (€7,011), Alexandru Dan Nistor eliminated in 8th place (€8,757).

Double Up!

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Rune Thomsen opened for 110,000 with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Lasse Haagensen shoved for 440,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Thomsen made the call.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{A-Clubs} helping Thomsen in front. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn gave Thomsen trips but was effectively meaningless.

The {7-Hearts} on the river saved Haagensen, doubling him to again a playable stack!

Another Small Pot for Ievkov

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Evgueny Ievkov opened {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Lasse Haagensen called with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The flop came {5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and both players checked. The {7-Hearts} hit the turn, giving Haagensen a flush draw on top of his second pair. Haagensen bet out 160,000 and Ievkov called.

The {2-Diamonds} completed the board and Haagensen checked. Ievkov bet 100,000 and Haagensen instantly called, only to muck upon being shown the pair of jacks with the better kicker.

Ievkov Makes a Full House

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hijack Patrick Coughlin raised to 110,000 holding {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Start of day chip leader Evgueny Ievkov called from the big blind with the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Ievkov checked. Coughlin bet 120,000 and Ievkov made the call, growing the pot to 530,000.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn had Ievkov check again and Coughlin bet 265,000. Ievkov called.

With now a million in the pot, the {5-Diamonds} completed the board. Ievkov checked and Coughlin checked behind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Thomsen was just about drawing dead. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river were blanks and Wittikko doubled.
