Jesse Grossegger Eliminated

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 3,000 ante

The cutoff opened for 30,000 and Jesse Grossegger shoved all in from the button for 161,000. Action folded to the big blind and he too shoved all in. The initial raiser gave up.

Grossegger was behind with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} as his opponent had {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop must have given Grossegger a glimmer of hope, but the {Q-Hearts} on the turn and {4-Hearts} on the river failed to improve him.

Grossegger finished in 23rd place, good for €3,492.

Johan Goslings, who bubbled the last event in Malta, is now the sole Dutchman left in the field.

Down to Three Tables

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Arwin and Robert Aluan have been eliminated from the tournament and so the tournament is down to 27 players. There's a redraw to 3 tables in progress now.

Wittikko Hits to Double

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jesse Grossegger raised the cutoff for 26,000 and small blind Daniel Wittikko made the call.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Wittikko checked. Grossegger bet 48,000 and Wittikko tanked for a while before making his decision. At one point he lifted up his cards and for a second it looked like he was throwing them in the muck. In the end, though, he moved all in. Grossegger called instantly.

Daniel Wittikko: {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Jesse Grossegger: {9-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

Wittikko was already getting up from his seat to make his exit, but he sat back down as the {5-Hearts} hit the turn. He wasn't home safe yet, but the {Q-Spades} on the turn locked in the double up.

Van Vlasselaer Bad Beats A Myrini

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 2,000 ante

From middle position, Jonberg A Myrini made it 22,000. Action folded to Jasper Van Vlasselaer in the small blind and he raised to 70,000. The big blind folded and A Myrini instantly shoved all in. Van Vlasselaer wasn't expecting that.

After about a minute or so, Van Vlasselaert said "So fast huh? You moved in so fast?"

"Well, I have a good hand" replied A Myrini.

"Yeah, so do I. That's the problem." Van Vlasselaer answered.

Van Vlasselaer eventually did call, and he soon found out he was in trouble.

Jasper Van Vlasselaer: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Jonberg A Myrini: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} however, helping Van Vlasselaer in front. A Myrini was open ended, but failed to improve with the {6-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Hearts} river. Van Vlasselaer had his opponent covered and A Myrini made his exit.
