eSports Champion Crowned; High Roller Down to 16

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After the eliminations of Gheorghe Caplescu, Ronald Haverkamp, Carlo van Ravenswoud, Samuiel Stan and Marian Virlanuta, the €2,200 High Roller has been reduced to just 16 hopefuls and their tables were moved right in front of the feature table.

On there, a champion has just been crowned in the eSports Battle Royale VII and you can watch the action in the embedded live stream to find out what happened.

The High Rollers are led towards the money bubble by Eric Wasylenko, who still holds a comfortable lead with around 350,000.

Fewer Than 100 Players Remain

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mika Maki-Valtari was left short after his queens were cracked by ace-seven and the remaining few chips were gone when {9-}{7-} was no good against the {10-}{9-} of his opponent.

Florian Udila and Amitai Or were also among the recent bustouts after having enjoyed a decent start into Day 1a, and Andrei Nodea's attempt to run up a stack in a short time was cut short - he is also out.

All no-shows have been taken out and the screens show 167 entries for Day 1a, of which 93 remain.

Byrne Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Daiva Byrne
Daiva Byrne

After one limp, Daiva Byrne raised and received three callers. The continuation bet of the Unibet Poker ambassador was called by one opponent only with the flop showing {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Byrne's shove on the {2-Hearts} turn went through without resistance.

The table broke right after and Byrne was moved to a table with big stacks Marius Pertea and Silviu Baltatenu.

Grigore Runs Out of Chips

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Samy Dubonnet raised to 2,100 first to act and short stack Adrian Grigore moved all in for 6,400. That got past big stack Pavao Veza, but Sergiu Cornea quickly moved all in out of the big blind to force a fold from Dubonnet.

Adrian Grigore: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Sergiu Cornea: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

There was no glimpse of hope for Grigore on the board of {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and he headed to the rail, where he was quickly joined by Olli Korhonen.

Machiach Doubles; Hladik Busts

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On the flop of {K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}, Ionut Zota moved all in and Michal Hladik called all in for his last 16,000 on the button with the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Zota had the {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the {J-Diamonds} turn and {8-Diamonds} river were both blanks.

A few tables over, the flop showed {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Martin Magal bet 3,500 on the button. Bogdan Domnitanu called in the small blind and Josef Machiach check-raised all in for 38,800 from under the gun. Magal called and Domnitanu folded.

Josef Machiach: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Martin Magal: {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The {3-Spades} turn and {J-Spades} river were blanks and Machiach doubled. "I miss-clicked preflop and should have three-bet," Magal said in table chat.
