Cetanas Forces Out Shlomo

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Razvan Cetanas has taken over the lead after forcing a big fold from Ohana Shlomo.

On the three-way turn of {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Shlomo bet 28,000 in the big blind and Oscar Tompsett called. Cetanas raised to 60,000 and Shlomo called, Tompsett folded. The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and Shlomo folded while Cetanas instantly moved all in.

Shlomo sighed and was asked if he had a set. Shlomo shook his head and mucked the {A-Diamonds}, and Cetanas cheekily turned over the {5-Hearts}.

Fachete Loses a Big Flip

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Vlad Ruxandari and Stefanita Fachete are the next two casualties and the latter lost a big flip to Georgios-Angelos Tavoularis. The Greek open-shoved out of the small blind for 250,000 and had Fachete with 150,000 covered. Fachete checked his cards and called.

Stefanita Fachete: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Georgios-Angelos Tavoularis: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Tavoularis the nut flush and Fachete needed running cards in order to avoid a debacle before the money bubble. Instead it was all over after the {10-Spades} turn to make the {6-Spades} river a formality. There are 73 players remaining and 71 get paid.

Rough Exit for Luca

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the turn of the board {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, Catalin Luca was all in and at risk for around 100,000 and Vladut Paun tossed in a single chip for the call.

Catalin Luca: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Vladut Paun: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

Paun had come from behind to turn the same straight while freerolling to a better straight with one card to come. There were several "ohhhh's" on the table as the heartbreaking {K-Spades} indeed appeared on the river to eliminate Luca.
