Grimberg and Tavoularis Jam Up Their Stacks

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Andreei Grimberg and Georgios-Angelos Tavoularis came back short from the dinner break and have since jammed several times without being called to run up their stacks slightly.

Ohana Shlomo fired three barrels against jean-Serge Baril on a board of {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and moved all in after the river. Baril in the small blind check-called bets of 30,000 and 50,000 before folding with 280,000 behind. Shlomo showed him the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Tourlakis Doubles Through Lazar

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ohana Shlomo raised to 25,000 and Henrik Tellving called on the button, as did Christopher Heidelbacher in the big blind. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Heidinger checked and Shlomo bet 35,000, which only Tellving called.

After the {2-Diamonds} turn, Shlomo checked and called a bet of 50,000 before leading the {6-Clubs} river for 50,000. Tellving called and Shlomo mucked to forfeit the pot.

Over on table three, Tudor Bartha Lazar raised to 24,000 from early position and Silviu Baltateanu called on the button. Aris Tourlakis shoved for 239,000 in the big blind and Lazar reshoved to force a fold from Baltateanu.

Aris Tourlakis: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Tudor Bartha Lazar: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board came {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the Greek doubled.

Teun Herman defended out of the blinds against a raise by Silviu Baltateanu and ended up caling a bet of 27,000 by the Romanian on the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} river. Baltateanu flashed the {A-Spades} only and raked in the pot, as Herman mucked.

Neculai Macovei

Henrik Tellving limped on the button and Vlad Cojocariu shoved in the small blind. Neculai Macovei asked for a count, knowing he was covered, and simply wanted to know how much the all in was for based on Hellving's big stack on the button.

Cojocariu's shove was for 205,000 and Neculai called for his last nine big blinds, Tellving folded.

Neculai Macovei: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Vlad Cojocariu: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Both bumped fists before the showdown and the board ran out {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to eliminate Macovei.

Dan Murariu made some chips over on the feature table and Yasen Dichev did so on an outer table. All but one hands were without showdown, and the last one saw Dichev claim the pot with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} against the {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts} of Marius Pertea when both checked down the river of a board {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

After a move with ace-high, Ionut Asanache folded to the shove of Laurentiu Marius Bunica, who had {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the king-high flush draw. Asanache shoved soon after for 135,000 with {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Tom Vogelsang called with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to see the board run out {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Marian Strachinescu was left with fewer than one big blind when his {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} ended up second-best to Bartlomiej Gorzolka, who held {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and hit a full house on the board {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

Down to 4,000, Strachinescu shoved with {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Gorzolka raised to 40,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Dan Murariu moved in for 116,000 with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Gorzolka called. The two-time Unibet Open champion more than doubled thanks to a board of {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and the table broke soon after.
