Tourlakis Doubles Through Lazar

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ohana Shlomo raised to 25,000 and Henrik Tellving called on the button, as did Christopher Heidelbacher in the big blind. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Heidinger checked and Shlomo bet 35,000, which only Tellving called.

After the {2-Diamonds} turn, Shlomo checked and called a bet of 50,000 before leading the {6-Clubs} river for 50,000. Tellving called and Shlomo mucked to forfeit the pot.

Over on table three, Tudor Bartha Lazar raised to 24,000 from early position and Silviu Baltateanu called on the button. Aris Tourlakis shoved for 239,000 in the big blind and Lazar reshoved to force a fold from Baltateanu.

Aris Tourlakis: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Tudor Bartha Lazar: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board came {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the Greek doubled.

Grimberg and Tavoularis Jam Up Their Stacks

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Andreei Grimberg and Georgios-Angelos Tavoularis came back short from the dinner break and have since jammed several times without being called to run up their stacks slightly.

Ohana Shlomo fired three barrels against jean-Serge Baril on a board of {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and moved all in after the river. Baril in the small blind check-called bets of 30,000 and 50,000 before folding with 280,000 behind. Shlomo showed him the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Two Doubles and a Bustout

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There was an elimination on the feature table while two double ups took place on table three.

Joris Hermans shoved from under the gun for 161,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Silviu Baltateanu called on the button with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The board of {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} gave the belgian trips and he doubled.

Linus Hjulstrom and Pavao Veza collided soon after and the latter was the player at risk for 254,000 with {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. Hjulstrom also had a premium hand in {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} but lost two third of his stack as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Cohen Busts Niejmeijer in Big Pot

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jan-Willem Nijmeijer
Jan-Willem Nijmeijer

Yasen Dichev had previously doubled with set against the top two pair of Avi Cohen and just took revenge against Jan-Willem Nijmeijer in an even bigger pot.

Nijmeijer raised from early position and picked up three callers in Dichev, Marius Pertea and Cohen in the blinds. On the {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, action checked to Nijmeijer and he bet 41,000. Dichev called and Pertea folded before Cohen check-raised to 165,000. Nijmeijer tanked for a while and moved all in, which Cohen quickly called.

Jan-Willem Nijmeijer: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Avi Cohen: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The final two cards were red, but the wrong suit for the Dutchman as the {8-Diamonds} turmn and {J-Diamonds} river failed to improve him.

Down to 29 Players

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There were two eliminations on the feature table, one before and one after the bustout of Linus Hjulstrom over on table three. Hjulstrom jammed his short stack with the {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Silviu Baltateanu called with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} from one seat over.

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Hjulstrom had to settle for 31st place. In the meanwhile, there are 29 players remaining and the redraw of the last three tables is just two seat open away.

The live stream has caught up to the elimination of Marcus Friman, who pushed for just 51,000 with {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} in late position and was called by Bogdan Ionescu with the {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. The board came {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Friman was gone in 34th place.

In the meanwhile on the outer table, Yonatan Koko got it in good with pocket kings only to see Aris Tourlakis call with nines and spike a nine on the flop.

Redraw With 27 Players

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Yet another bustout took place on the feature table and that reduced the field to the last 27.

Before that took place, Avi Cohen lost an expensive pot against Pavao Veza. The latter defended his small blind and bet the {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} turn for 148,000, Cohen called. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Veza checked and tank-called a bet of 168,000 by Cohen.

Cohen rolled over {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for a busted flush draw and Veza turned over {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the straight. "Sorry for the slowroll," he apologized.
