Tucknott Jams Up Stack

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Pascal Rabany has further increased his stack and Frida Andersson eventually jumped above the starting stack after spending most of the previous levels well below that. Another player to take part in the action on the same table is Michael Tucknott and he was just spotted in a big pot with table neighbor Vlad Screciu, who entered recently.

More than 30,000 were in the middle when the board showed {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Screcia checked over to Tucknott, who jammed for what appeared to be 14,000. Screcia folded and Tucknott claimed the pot.

Black No More

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante
Andy Black
Andy Black

Andy Black quickly doubled his stack after entering in level two, however, he has been eliminated prior to the dinner break and two big stacks have emerged over on table four. One of them is Markus Heikkila, and he was kind enough to provide the details, as it was him that sent Black to the rail.

According to Heikkila, he held pocket jacks and Black flopped top pair with {Q-}{10-} on ten-high when the chips went in. There was no help on turn and river, and Black vanished. David Vanderheyden has also been eliminated on a different table.

Tiainen Doubles With Quads

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Antti Tiainen raised it up to 1,800 from early position and Lars Pieters in the small blind three-bet to 6,500. Tiainen moved all in and Pieters asked for a count. Once it was deemed to be just over 26,000, Pieters called.

Antti Tiainen: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Lars Pieters: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

There was no sweat at all for the Finn, as he made quads on the board {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

"That's very good," he said with his dry Scandinavian accent.

"No sweat," Lee Egan in the one seat replied and Tiainen added "but I like sweat."

Heads-Up in the €2,200 High Roller

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Michael Mazilu was the first to fall once the money bubble in the €2,200 High Roller burst and Seamus Cahill followed soon after. Paul Jux Holderness had to settle for third place and that left Benny Glaser and Valentin Cristea to battle for the victory.

Glaser started with a big chip lead but that has since been cut down somewhat. On a {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} turn, Glaser bet 46,000 at blinds of 2,000/5,000/5,000 and Cristea jammed for 237,000 to force a fold from the Brit.

Nordli Rivers the Nuts

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Oystein Nordli check-called a bet of 5,500 by Sean Foley on the {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} turn and then bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 10,000.

"Can you show me how much you have behind?" Foley asked and Nordli removed his hands to reveal around 10,000 behind. Foley then called and Nordli rolled over {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for the nut straight, while Foley mucked his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} in disgust.

The same table also features Jack Sinclair, who entered after busting the €2,200 High Roller before the money. Seamus Cahill cashed and invested a portion of that for the entry of Day 1a of the Main Event also, but has been reduced to one third of the starting stack one table over from Sinclair.

The €2,200 High Roller is still in heads-up and Valentin Cristea has taken over a narrow lead. He was all in with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} against the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Benny Glaser and spiked the {A-Diamonds} on the river.

Moolhuizen Melted Away

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

First to act, Mateusz Moolhuizen moved all in for the last 3,150 and the action folded around to the blinds.

"I am so tight, I haven't played a hand in two hours," Moolhuizen joked with a big grin on the face. Gabor Csire in the small blind was tempted, but then pointed to big stack Guillaume Dupuy in the big blind and sent his cards into the muck. Dupuy checked his cards and called instantly.

Mateusz Moolhuizen: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Guillaume Dupuy: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}

"I fold," Moolhuizen joked and found no help on the board {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades} to bust minutes before the dinner break on Day 1a.
