Black Defends Big

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

Action opened with Toni Englund betting 800 from early position. He was called by Tom Veenhuysen in the middle, and big blind Andy Black elected to defend as well.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs} and all three players checked. Black led out for 2,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn, and that was enough to secure the pot for him.

Huang Takes it on the River

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and they all checked to see the {10-Hearts} on the turn. It checked to Huang and he bet 2,200. Only Cinca called from the big. Cinca again checked the {2-Spades} river, and then folded to the 3,600 bet from Huang.

Sesay Gets no Callers on River

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

The board of {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades} was already down on the felt, and there was a sizable pot already in the middle. Small blind Sulaiman Sesay bet 8,500 into the pot, and while big blind Tomas Geleziunas tanked for awhile, both he and button player Eric Loschan got rid of their hands to send the pot to Sesay uncontested.

Black Gets a Double

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Micha Kulesza opened for a raise in the middle, and was called by Andy Black to his left, as well as Olivier Komar in the small blind. The eight-nine-four two spade flop was checked around. It checked to Black on the queen turn card, and he bet 700. Komar raised to 2,500, and Kulesza got out of the way, Black raised again to 7,500.

Komar called, and checked the river brick. Black shoved all in for around 19,000, and Komar called. Komar's pocket tens were oout-turned by the jack-queen of Black, and black scored a full double.
