Spedalieri Jams Into Ivezic

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Three ways to the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, Florian Gouget and Jasenko Ivezic checked to Santina Spedalieri who bet 1,200. Only Ivezic called and then led the {5-Spades} turn for 1,000. Spedalieri quickly jammed for 7,500 and Ivezic folded almost instantly.

New Entries and an Elimination

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

The live stream is now available on the Unibet Poker social media channels as Henry Kilbane leads the commentary. He is joined by Unibet Poker ambassador Dara O'Kearney for the first few minutes, who will then enter the Progressive Knockout Side Event shortly.

Peter Kaae may very well be in there too as he was already eliminated in level three.

Juutilainen Catches Moolhuizen Bluffing

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

Until the river of a {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board there was already around 24,000 in the middle. Mateusz Moolhuizen moved all-in with the covering stack against Henri Juutilainen and the latter reluctantly called.

"Good call," Moolhuizen said and tapped the table before exposing the {k-Spades}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces and missed straight as well as flush draw. Juutilainen had that beat with {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for jacks and deuces to double for 17,300, leaving Moolhuizen on a short stack.

Bujok Takes a Small Hit

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the turn showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Szymon Bujok checked his option. Fokke Beukers bet 1,300 into 1,800 to receive a call by Bujok, who then also checked the {2-Hearts} on the river. Beukers bet 4,000 and the big stack mulled it over for a minute before calling.

Bujok sighed when he was shown the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a set of fours and mucked his cards.

First Break on Day 1a

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Out of a field of 78 players, only 75 contestants still have chips at their disposal and they have been sent into the first scheduled 20-minute break of the day. Killian Desnos was the third casualty of the day and briefly inquired when he can buy back in before heading out of the tournament area.

Spampinato Takes From Gouguet

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Giulio Spampinato raised to 500 and earned one caller. Florian Gouget then three-bet to 1,500 in the cutoff and Spampinato reraised to 5,000. That forced out the cold-caller but Gouget came along to the {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, which went check, check. Spampinato bet the {9-Diamonds} turn for 3,000 and Gouget surrendered right there.

Small Pots for De Laat and de Jong

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Bas de Laat bet the heads-up turn of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} for 1,800 and received a call by his sole opponent Levente Szabo. The {3-Spades} river completed the board and de Laat now bet 3,800 into a pot of 5,700. That was enough to win the pot uncontested as Szabo opted to fold.

Dehlia de Jong also earned a few chips to boost her stack early on. She opened to 500 and was called one way. Following a {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, de Jong continued for 400 and that was all it took for her to win the pot right there.
