James Gives One Up
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Xavier James opened the action with a raise to 4,500 from late position. Two to his left, Nicolas Maquerre made it 12,500 to go on the button, and James thought for a while before sticking in a call.
He then checked the 4♥10♦J♦ flop over to the aggressor, who wasted no time in firing out a continuation-bet of 16,500. James went deep into the tank, before finally letting his hand go.
