Level 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Angela Rogan opened to 160,000 from early position. [Removed:663] made it 480,000 to go from the cutoff, and Rogan got a count of the bet before sticking in a call.
The 4♠7♣Q♣ flop saw both players check, bringing in the 10♣ turn. Here, Rogan checked again, and Hammann built a stack and pushed 725,000 forward. Rogan checked her cards, sighed, and sat back in her chair while pondering what to do. After a few moments, she stuck in the call to see the 4♣ river.
Action swiftly went check-check, and Rogan tabled 8♥8♦. Hammann, however, had rivered the winner, as his jack-high flush with A♦J♣ saw him cross the ten-million mark.
