Hammann Goes Running Two Pair
Level 30
: Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Moneyhunter opened to 250,000 from early position with A♠K♠. Benjamin Hammann called on the button holding K♣J♣, and Redwan Ferman defended his big blind with 7♠5♠.
The 6♦8♠Q♦ flop checked to Hammann, whose bet of 200,000 was called by both opponents. The K♦ turn saw Moneyhunter check again, and Hammann sized up to 350,000. Moneyhunter called, and the J♠ river was dealt.
Moneyhunter checked for a third time, and Hammann threw out a third barrel of 500,000. Moneyhunter took quite some time, but couldn't get away, as his top-top had been rivered by Hammann's two pair.
