Haxton Fires Three Barrels

Level 13

2-7 Triple Draw

After Aaron Katz and Isaac Haxton fired three bets, they each drew one card. Haxton kicked off the first round with a bet and Katz called. Haxton stood pat and Katz drew one. Another bet-call took place in the second round and both players stood pat.

Haxton fired a third barrel on the final round and Katz quickly sent his cards towards the muck.

River Pot-Bet From Haxton

Level 12

PLO

Isaac Haxton opened to 22,000 from the cutoff finding calls out of Aaron Katz on the button and Benjamin Pollak in the big blind.

A {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop fanned out and all three players checked to see the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Haxton bet 22,000 and Pollak check-called bringing the {5-Clubs} on the river.

Pollak checked once more and with just seconds left on the clock, Haxton announced "pot" and Pollak folded.

Meanwhile, at the other table, Daniel Negreanu quietly eliminated Minh Ly in a Stud 8/B pot.

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-}/{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}/{x-}

We picked up the action on fourth street where Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth were engaged in a Razz pot. Hellmuth had the betting lead and kept it throughout firing bets on each street out. Negreanu called down the whole way until Hellmuth made his final bet on seventh street.

Negreanu took a moment and as his clock ran out, he made the fold. Hellmuth gave Negreanu a glimpse of what he was up against, flashing the {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Hellmuth Eliminates Kenney

Omaha 8/B

On a {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, a string of bets between Bryn Kenney and Phil Hellmuth ended with Kenney all in for his last 84,000.

Bryn Kenney: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Phil Hellmuth: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Kenney had flopped the nut straight and had A-5 for low, while Hellmuth had top set and a better low. The {4-Clubs} on the turn locked up the high pot for the "Poker Brat" and the {5-Hearts} completed the scoop, sending Kenney out in 16th place.
