Smith Fills Up With Aces

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There looked to be about 16,000 in the pot on the river of a {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} board. Brian Green checked the action over to Dan Smith who tossed a big bet of 25,000 out in front of him. Green took his time and made the call just before his clock ran out.

Smith turned over the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, flopping a set of aces, and running out a boat and Green tossed his cards in the muck.

Pollak Shoves the Turn

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak opened from under the gun and called a three-bet to 38,000 from Isaac Haxton just one seat over. The flop fanned out {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Pollak checked. Haxton fired a bet of 11,000 and Pollak came over the top with a raise to 38,000. Haxton needed a timebank chip and ended up making the call.

The {k-Spades} hit the turn and Pollak moved all-in getting a quick fold from Haxton.
