Seiver on the Short Stack

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 2,500 from under the gun and got calls from Barry Woods on the button and Nick Schulman in the big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn.

Schulman led out for 6,500 and both Seiver and Woods stuck around to see the {k-Clubs} on the river. Schulman went for a big overbet of 40,000 but both of his opponents quickly released their hands. Seiver was left with around 20,000 after the hand with his chips spread out to the other four players at his table.

Meanwhile, Adrian Mateos has rejoined the field along with Cary Katz and Isaac Haxton who finished in fourth place in Event #6.
