Jordan Cristos Triples After Break

Four players were all in before the flop and Sean Perry was the largest of the stacks, with the chance to knock out three opponents, including Event #2: $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Champion Jordan Cristos who had 162,000 to start the hand. Larry Greenberg was all in for 150,000 and Alan Shiev had his last 3,000 in the pot, players turned over their hands.

Katz Takes One Off Imsirovic

Cary Katz opened in the hijack with a raise to 11,000. Ali Imsirovic was in the cutoff and he three-bet, making it 33,000. Action folded back to Katz who called.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Katz checked to Imsirovic who put out a bet of 31,000. Katz called.

Both players checked on the {10-Hearts} turn and on the {8-Hearts} river, Katz put out a bet of 29,000. Imsirovic thought it over for a bit, then called. Katz showed {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} and it was good to take down the pot.

"Spades would not have been good for you," Imsirovic said after the hand.

Johnson Takes Down Yu's Set

The turned board was showing {5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} when Rodger Johnson bet and Ben Yu moved all in, Johnson called and the two turned over their hands.

Yu turned over {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a turned set of sevens and Johnson showed {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a turned straight. An {8-Hearts} landed on the river and changed nothing as Johnson took down the pot, eliminating Yu.

The field for Event #3: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the US Poker Open just slightly topped the field of Event #1: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em with 91 players (Event #1 had 90 players). This created a prizepool of $910,000.

Of the 91 entrants, 13 will walk away with a payday of at least $18,200. The eventual winner of the event will take home $218,400. Currently there are 53 players remaining and 40 of them will fall before the money is reached here in Event #3.

Foxen Shoves on Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo opened in the cutoff with a raise to 8,000. Next to act, Alex Foxen three-bet, making it 24,000. Action folded back to Petrangelo who called.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Petrangelo checked. Foxen continued with a bet of 11,000 and Petrangelo thought for a bit, then called.

On the {Q-Diamonds} turn, both players checked to see the {K-Hearts} on the river. There, Petrangelo checked for a third time. Foxen moved all in for about 74,000 effective. Perangelo used almost his entire 30 seconds before folding, allowing Foxen to take down the pot.

Peters Doubles Through Katz

Cary Katz opened with a raise to 9,000 and action folded to the small blind where David Peters moved all in for 51,000. Action folded back to Katz who asked if Alex Foxen had folded already before he called.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} which gave Katz the lead with a pair of jacks and left Peters in a big hole.

"It's not over yet," Katz said as the {10-Spades} rolled off on the turn, giving Peters the straight. "There we go."

The river was the {2-Hearts} and that sealed it for Peters who doubled to over 100,000 while Katz was knocked down to just over 300,000.
