Katz Flops The Nuts But Snap-Folds River

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Cary Katz limped the hijack with the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Tom Marchese called from the small blind with the {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Sean Rafael checked his option from the big with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the flop fell {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

Two checks saw Katz bet 60,000 with his flopped nuts and only Rafael called to see the {6-Hearts} turn. Both players checked and the {K-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Rafael bet 225,000 with his nut flush and Katz snap-folded.

Rafael Doubles Through Lamb

Level 17 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Cary Katz limped the hijack with the {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Ben Lamb raised to 115,000 from the button. Sean Rafael called out of the big blind with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Katz got out of the way.

Rafael then jammed his last 265,000 on the {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Lamb called.

The {8-Clubs} turn gave Rafael more outs but it was the {6-Spades} on the river that gave him the flush and double.

Big Flop Results in Chidwick Pulling in More Chips

Level 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Sean Rafael raised to 65,000 from the cutoff holding {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Stephen Chidwick called from the button with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Both blinds folded and it was heads-up action to the {q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop.

Rafael checked his set and then called a bet of 60,000 from Chidwick, who flopped Broadway.

Rafael checked again on the {5-Clubs} turn and Chidwick bet 210,000. The call was made and the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Rafael checked for the third time and Chidwick bet enough to put his opponent all in. Rafael had 375,000 behind and used a time extension before laying it down.
