Chidwick Takes Down a Large Pot Through Katz

Chance Kornuth limped from the hijack, Cary Katz limped from the cutoff, Sam Soverel completed in the small and Stephen Chidwick checked from the big.

The dealer spread out {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} on the flop, action checked to Kornuth who bet 25,000, Katz and Chidwick both called. A {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Chidwick moved all in for 106,000 and only Katz called.

Chidwick turned over {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the nut straight, Katz tabled {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a lower straight with a flush draw. The {3-Diamonds} peeled off on the river and Chidwick's straight took down the pot, doubling through Katz.

Katz Wins a Massive Pot With a Pair of Threes

Chance Kornuth opened with a raise to 25,000 from under the gun. Cary Katz called on the button and Stephen Chidwick defended from the big blind with a call.

The flop was {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Kornuth put out a bet of 60,000 when checked too. Katz dropped into the tank and after a few moments he announced a pot, making it 270,000. Chidwick folded and Kornuth moved all in. Katz called quickly for the remainder of his stack which was 336,000.

Both players had a flushdraw, but Kornuth was also holding a massive wrap as well. The turn was the {5-Spades} and the {7-Spades} was the river and with that, Katz held on with a pair of threes to take down the massive pot, doubling to over 700,000.

Soverel tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a pair of kings, Kornuth tabled a flush draw. The board ran out clean for Soverel and he double through Kornuth.

Kornuth Drops the Hammer on Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick opened in the cutoff with a raise to 20,000. Next to act on the button, Chance Kornuth popped it up, making it 72,000. Action folded back to Chidwick who thought for a moment before calling.

Chidwick checked on the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and Kornuth dropped the hammer, betting pot which was enough to put Chidwick all in for about 80,000. Chidwick dropped into the tank and used a time extension, but eventually he decided to fold so Kornuth took down another pot.
