Soverel Takes One Off Loeser

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Manig Loeser opened under the gun with a raise to 6,500 and Sam Soverel defended in the big blind with a call.

The flop was {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Soverel checked as did Loeser. On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Soverel led out for 5,500. Loeser then raised, making it 12,500. Soverel just called.

The {A-Hearts} came on the river and both players checked. Soverel showed his {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} for trip tens and that would earn him the pot as Loeser mucked.

Shak Eliminates Roberts

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Both Dan Shak and Lauren Roberts put in 8,000 before the flop with Shak in the small blind and Roberts in the big blind.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Shak checked. Roberts put out a bet of 11,000 and Shak called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Shak checked for a second time. Roberts made it 24,000 this time. Shak then check-raised, moving all in for 150,000. Roberts used one of her time extension chips then eventually called, putting herself at risk.

Lauren Roberts: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Dan Shak: {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Roberts was drawing dead with an overpair to the board so the {6-Hearts} on the river changed nothing, allowing Shak to take down the pot with a straight,

Roberts headed to the cage to re-enter for a second time and now is on her final entry of the day.
