Zamani Scoops on a Bad Turn for Mathis

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Evan Mathis
Evan Mathis

The flop showed {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and the pot had about 28,500 in it. Action checked to Evan Mathis, he bet 8,000 and Martin Zamani check-raised to 45,000.

Mathis called, the dealer burned and turned a {2-Diamonds} and Zamani pushed in a bet of 104,000. Mathis quickly announced all in and Zamani snap-called for his remaining 344,000.

Mathis turned over {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a turned set of ducks and Zamani showed {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flopped straight with a flush draw. The {8-Clubs} landed on the river and changed nothing, sending the pot to Zamani who doubled through Mathis with his straight.

Schindler Wakes Up With a Hand and Doubles through Fox

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to the button where Nick Petrangelo opened with a raise to 6,500. Elio Fox was in the small blind and he thought it over for a bit before moving all in with a covering stack on both Jake Schindler in the big blind and Petrangelo. The shove was for 122,000 which is what Schindler had in his stack.

When Fox moved all in, Schindler quickly called and even quicker, Petrangelo got out of the way.

Elio Fox: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Jake Schindler: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Fox was unable to catch up, so with that, Schindler doubled to over 200,000.
