Hellmuth Nearly Doubles Through Schulman

Level 7

2-7 Triple Draw:

Phil Hellmuth raised under the gun and Nick Schulman made it three-bets in the big blind. Hellmuth made it four bets and Schulman called.

Both players took one then checked. Schulman took one again, and Hellmuth took one as well. Schulman then bet. Helmuth sweated his draw and exasperatedly threw the {4-Clubs} up on the table. He called anyways.

Schulman stood pat on the final draw. Hellmuth took one. Schulman then checked. Helmuth sweated his card.

"That's a good card," he said before betting, leaving himself with 1,500 behind. Schulman called. Helmuth showed his {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} for an eighty-seven, and that would earn him the pot as Schulman mucked.

Vitch Continues to be the Aggressor

Level 7

No-Limit Hold'em

Chris Vitch opened to 6,000 in the hijack, Justin Bonomo called from the cutoff and Dan Shak defended his big blind. The dealer spread out {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} on the flop.

Action checked to Vitch, he bet 8,000 and only Bonomo stuck around. A {4-Hearts} came down on the turn and Vitch fired out a bet of 35,000. Bonomo instantly folded, sending the pot to Vitch.

Seiken Eliminated by Schulman

Level 6

PLO:

Nicholas Seiken lost most of his chips to Eric Rodawig when Rodawig made a six low and flush to beat Rodawig's seven low and two pair in Stud Hi-Lo. After the hand, Seiken had just 500 chips. He was able to double a few times and started this hand with right around 10,000.

Nick Schulman raised to 5,000 on the button and Phil Hellmuth called in the small blind. Nicholas Seiken called in the big blind.

On the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Seiken moved all in out of turn for 5,500.

"I'll check," Hellmuth said, meaning the Seiken's shove would stand. Schulman then called and Hellmuth sighed and released.

Nick Seiken: {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Nick Schulman: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Schulman had the better pair while both players had a gut shot, but the turn was the {A-Diamonds} and the river was the {K-Spades} so with his pair of eights, Schulman would take down the pot and Send Seiken packing.

"I thought you were going to do me like Erik," Vitch said, referring to the elimination of Erik Sagstrom.
