Kempe Takes From Foxen

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Rainer Kempe opened under the gun with a raise to 2,500 and he was called by Alex Foxen in the small blind.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and both players checked to see the {a-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Foxen checked and Kempe put out a bet of 5,500. Foxen then raised, making it 16,000. Kempe thought about it for a bit then called.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and Foxen checked. Kempe thought for a bit, going over 30 seconds and using a timebank chip, then put out a bet of 23,000. Foxen instantly folded.

Fox Sends Klein Out the Door on an Action Flop

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The flop was showing {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} when Bill Klein and Elio Fox moved all of their chips into the middle. Fox tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flush with a straight draw and Klein tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a set.

A {k-Diamonds} fell on the turn, giving Fox the straight and the {6-Hearts} on the river did not improve Klein's hand, as he was eliminated to Fox's flush.
