Winamax Poker Open Back in Dublin; Main Event Kicks Off Today

2017 Winamax Poker Open Dublin Main Event Champion Otto Richard
2017 Winamax Poker Open Dublin Main Event Champion Otto Richard

Just over 12 months ago, Otto Richard took down the largest ever Winamax Poker Open Dublin Main Event in history, taking home €92,000 after topping a field of 1,069 players.

This year that record could yet be extended as organisers have added another starting flight and switched to the popular big blind ante format.

The festival as a whole features a total of 40 events, with buy-ins ranging from €10 to the €1,500 High Roller, which concludes today. Each event comes with the fun, relaxed atmosphere that is synonymous with the WPO.

However, all eyes from now on will be on the Main Event, which starts today with Day 1a.
