Bad Beat and Good Beat Jackpots in the Main Event
Just as we've come to expect, a Winamax live event is not just a case of chips and cards, with one player emerging as winner.
There are plenty of opportunities to have fun and win yourself an extra prize or two while you're in the Main Event. For example, the first elimination on Day 1a, 1b or 1c will receive a €300 buy-in for the Monsterstack which takes place on Saturday.
There is also a 'Kill the Pro' competition; anyone who busts a Winamax Team Pro - and there are many of them present here this week - will receive a commemorative button as well as a €50 online tournament ticket.
Finally, there is not just a bad beat jackpot but a good beat jackpot! The bad beat jackpot is for any player who loses a pot with quads, whilst using both of their hole cards. They will receive a buy-in for next year's Winamax Poker Open here in Dublin.
Meanwhile, the good beat jackpot is for any player that wins with a straight flush. Nothing else, just wins with a straight flush. They will receive a round of beer for the table and, according to the tournament staff, the dealer as well.
