Kitai Eliminated before the Break

Level 29 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Davidi Kitai got his last 500,000 chips in with {q-}{j-} against the {a-}{k-} of Elisha Benguigui.

The flop came {a-}{9-}{8-} and there was no help for Kitai on either the turn or river and he was eliminated.

That means former champion Pierre Calamusa is the last WInamax Team Pro standing.

Break

Level 29 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Players are going on their next 25-minute break. When they return they will play three more levels before heading on a 75-minute dinner break.

Level: 30

Blinds: 15,000/35,000

Ante: 35,000

Majtyka Shoving on Two Players

Level 30 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante

Anthony Boyer opened to 70,000 from under the gun and Francklin Flory called in the next position. Mehdi Saidi three-bet to 220,000 from the small blind and big stack Fraser Macintyre folded his big blind.

Boyer then re-raised all in for 920,000. Flory agonized over his decision before folding, with Saidi folding shortly afterwards.

Former Champion Calamusa Eliminated

Level 30 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante
Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

Three big pots is what did for 2015 champion Pierre Calamusa in the end. According to our French colleagues, he four-bet pre-flop and then jammed a {9-}{10-}{4-} flop with {8-}{9-} suited, only for his opponent to call with {q-}{q-}.

That knocked him back, and he then check-raised all in on a {k-}{7-}{5-} flop with two clubs holding {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and failed to get there versus a single opponent.

Finally, blind on blind he lost for his last eight big blinds {6-}{6-} vs {a-}{3-} to bust from the Main Event.
