Late Night Casualties in the Main Room

Level 18 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mehdi Kechiche was spotted on his way out of the tournament room and Manuel Martins followed. The Portuguese was part of a double knockout in which his {a-}{9-} went up versus another short stack's {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Alexandre Molina Galan.

On a board of {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Spades}, Molina Galan made the best flush to add a few chips to his middling stack.

A Quick Glance at Team Winamax Late on Day 1

Level 18 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Gaelle Baumann was among the later entries on Day 1a and had joined some time before the dinner break. She wasted little time to run up a profit and currently sits in second place of all Team Winamax Pros. Pierre Calamusa is the table captain and has more than nine times the starting stack while Top Shark winner Loic Debregeas can also be found in the Mandalay Room as well.

Former Winamax ambassador Jonathan Therme is in, Alejandro Romero and Guillaume Diaz are, however, out.

Locatelli Knocks Out Crespo Rodriguez

Level 17 : 1,500/3,500, 3,500 ante

Noah Locatelli raised to 7,000 and then called the shove by Juan Crespo Rodriguez for what appeared to be 78,500 as the cards went on their backs.

Juan Crespo Rodriguez: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Noah Locatelli: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop gave the Spaniard the top pair and top kicker while Locatelli had two overcards. One of them struck right away on the {q-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} river brought no help to Crespo Rodriguez.

Bouvier Leads the Pack For Now

Level 17 : 1,500/3,500, 3,500 ante

In multi-way action to the {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Alexis Bouvier check-called a bet worth 10,000 by Jean-Charles Remaud and check-raised on the {10-Spades} turn from 16,000 to 40,000. Remaud came along and Bouvier then led the {j-Spades} river for 50,000, which Remaud called after almost a minute of consideration.

Bouvier tabled the {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair and that won the significant pot for Bouvier to join the chip leaders.

Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos was among those players to bust late in the day and the Spaniard has another three starting days to try and run up a stack. Several other Winamax Team Pros are currently in contention and they are all over in the Mandalay Room with more news about them to follow.
