Chemarin Raises River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The action is flowing thick and fast here in the London Room at Banco Casino Bratislava, with mammoth sized pots already taking place in opening few levels.

Jeremy Chemarin was the next player to drag in a stack boosting pot after he raised to 20,000 after the cutoff bet 5,500 on the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board. Prior to the river card, there was 15,000 in the pot.

The cutoff folded to the raise but was very clearly in a spot and took several moments before returning his cards to the dealer.

Dion Chips Up

Alexane Najchaus

Nicolas Dion opened the action to 900 from under the gun and was called by the small blind and Winamax Team Pro Alexane Najchaus in the big blind.

Action checked to Dion on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and he bet 1,000. Only the small blind called. The small blind then check-called a bet of 2,500 on the {k-Spades} turn to bring in the {7-Hearts} river.

Dion fired for a third time and sized up to 4,500. The small blind let it go and the Frenchman raked in the pot.

Paris Gets an Early Double Up

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

A huge pot was brewing on Table 77. There was 12,700 in the middle on the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop. Elliot Vernge put out a bet before Bruno Paris raised to 12,700. Vernge responded by moving all in as the superior stack.

Paris weighed up his options before finally saying "Let's hope you don't have tens." He then committed the last of his chips.

Bruno Paris: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Elliot Vergne: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Paris wishes were true as he had his opponent drawing to three immediate outs. The {4-Hearts} turn only gave Vergne chop outs and Paris then raked in the sizeable early pot after the {2-Diamonds} came on the river.

Tacer Flops a Set

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With 3,700 in the middle on the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, the small blind checked before Nicolas Maillet did the same from the big blind. Mitja Tacer bet 1,000 and both of his opponents called.

Action checked to Tacer again following the {4-Spades} turn. He continued for 4,500 and only Maillet called. Both players checked back the {q-Diamonds} river. Tacer exposed his {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a set of nines while Maillet had the {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for second pair.

Broadway for Dubois

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With 8,300 in the middle on the {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades} completed board, Nicolas Dubois bet big, to the tune of 7,200, from the big blind. His opponent, on the button, chucked in a single chip to call.

Dubois had the {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} which was good for a straight and raked in the pot.

Saidi Rivers Trips

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was caught on the {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop with around 5,000 in the pot. Julien Dupre bet 1,600 from the small blind and was called by Mehdi Saidi from the button.

Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} turn which brought in the {5-Spades} river. Dupre checked again before Saidi fired for 3,800. Dupre made the call and quickly mucked after Saidi rolled over his {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a rivered three-of-a-kind.
