The final Day 1's of the Winamax Poker Open Bratislava €500 Main Event at Banco Casino play out today, with Day 1c beginning at 12 p.m. CEST and Day 1d commencing at 7 p.m.
A massive turnout is expected with possibilities of the Main Event eclipsing the May's record-breaking WPO Madrid.
As it stands, 1,058 entries have taken place over the first two starting flights, with 631 of those coming from Day 1b. From the 631 entries, 106 players made it through to Day 2. Marian Flesar topped the Day 1b chip counts and bagged a tournament leading 950,000 stack.
Each of players who advanced from Day 1a and 1b locked up the min-cash, which will be announced when Day 2 begins.
Today's entries for the Main Event will start with a 50,000 starting stack, with levels going up every 30-minutes. Players are allowed one reentry per Day 1, with late registration closing at the end of Level 13 (approx. 6:50 p.m. CEST). Player breaks will take place every 4 levels and all of the starting flights will close when players are in the money. Day 2 will get underway on the level after the earliest Day 1 finish.

Cards are now in air for Day 1c of the Winamax Poker Open Main Event. The tournament board shows that there have been 558 entries already. Expect a big turnout for this one.
Loic Debregeas will be hoping for 'third time's the charm,' in Day 1c. Debregeas has fired two bullets in both Day 1a and 1b but has yet to make it through to Day 2. Francois Pirault has only played in Day 1b, and busted after the late registration period.

There was 35,800 in the middle on the board with Philippe Monreal and Lucas Pion heads-up. Both players started the hand with 50,000 and Monreal shipped in his last 32,000 from the big blind. Pion made the quick call from the cutoff.
Pion immediately flipped over his thinking he had the winner, however Monreal held the for a rivered set to get an early double.

Two more events reached their conclusion yesterday at WPO Bratislava and saw two more players bag some decent paydays.
Corentin Alves was the winner in Event #16 €150 Tornado KO and took home €3,660 as well as additional bounties.
Anthony Verdier was then the last player standing in Event #18 €100 Sprint and pocketed the €5,940 first-place prize.

Event #20 €150 Sniper KO promises to be a fast and furious affair and kicks off at 4 p.m. CEST. Day 1d of the Main Event then begins at 7 p.m.
Night Owls will also be pleased to know a €200 satellite to the the High Roller plays out at 9 p.m. Which is the same time that Event #22 €100 Sprint gets underway.
